Massac County hires replacement for Prevallet

Last night, the Massac County School Board hired Justin Kindle as the new head girls' basketball coach at Massac County High School. Kindle first started as a girls assistant coach in 2009. He serves as the school's assistant principal.

Coach Kindle replaces Jim Prevallet. Over 19 seasons and 2 stints as head coach, Prevallet's teams won 351 games, 13 regionals, 5 sectionals. His teams advanced to the State Tournament 3 times, finishing 2nd in 1985-86 in A and 1986-87 in AA. Prevallet was elected to the IBCA Hall of Fame in 2016.
