Are You HCE'S Biggest Loser?

Everyone is invited to join the fun in losing weight with the third season of the Perry County Home and Community Educators 'Biggest Loser' contest.

The competition kicks off with a weigh-in at 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 31 in the Manor at Mason Woods dining hall. Organizers will share tons of information to empower you to succeed in the 12 week weight loss contest, as well as record all your initial numbers.

The contest will be 12 weeks long with weigh-ins to check and compare everyone's progress along the way. The individual with the highest percentage of weight loss at the end will earn the crown of Biggest Loser, a cash prize and other goodies (TBA). Don't worry, only weight loss percentages will be shared with the group.

There will also be bi-weekly motivation meetings during the 12 week contest. The final weigh-in and awards presentation will be Monday, Nov. 23.

If you are an HCE member, the cost will be $8. If you are not a current member, the cost is $20 and will enter you into the contest and make you a member of HCE (Home and Community Educators) for the year.

Please pre-register for the kick-off by calling Sara Tanner at 758-3408. No one will be turned away at the door. You must weigh-in at the kick-off to enter the contest. Remember that the more people in the contest the higher the prize; invite everyone you know to join.
