Girl Scouts in Perry County have a variety of great events planned this coming service year. Some of them are: troop meetings, self-defense class, pool party, tree planting, dancing, movies, breakfast with Santa and crafts, Christmas caroling at the holiday lights fair, bowling, other/daughter bingo, camping, and father/daughter fishing. There will also be many educational and fun experiences for the girls through individual Troop trips. All girls in Perry County--kindergarten through seniors in high school--are invited to attend. Girl scouting builds courage, confidence and character, which makes the world a better place. For information, call 1-888-317-6353 or 542-8704.
