Red Bud Regional Hospital welcomes Andrew Mahtani, M.D.

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Red Bud Regional Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Andrew Mahtani, M.D., Family Medicine. In August, Dr. Mahtani will join the practice of Nancy Birner, M.D. and Amber Harriman, PA-C at the Hospital Medical Office Building located at 415 West South 4th Street in Red Bud.

Dr. Mahtani earned his medical degree at Semmelweis University of Budapest, after completing his last year of clinical rotations through New York Medical College, New York. He then completed his Family Medicine residency at the University of Connecticut.

While living abroad, Dr. Mahtani experienced different cultures and systems which fueled his passion for people, knowledge and healthcare. His specialty in family medicine allows him to provide comprehensive care for the entire family. He has a special interest in diabetes, obesity, women's health, mental health, and disease prevention. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family and friends, participating in outdoor activities, and sword fencing which has a long tradition at Semmelweis.
