Four arrested in drug bust
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ On August 26, 2010, members of the Chester Police Department conducted a search warrant at 1615 High Street in Chester. Police seized significant amounts of suspected crack cocaine, heroin, syringes, and marijuana. Police also seized just under $8,000.00 cash.
Police have arrested four in connection with this investigation. Arrested were 26-year-old Zoraida Flores of Chester, 23-year-old Nicholas Gearhart of Chester, 49-year-old John Gearhart of Chester, and 40-year-old Walter Eyman of Chester.
Zoraida Flores was charged with Unlawful Possession of Heroin within 1000ft. of a Church or School, and Unlawful Possession of Heroin with Intent to Deliver, Unlawful Possession of Crack Cocaine, Unlawful Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis, and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver.
Nicholas Gearhart was charged with Unlawful Possession of Heroin within 1000ft. of a Church or School, and Unlawful Possession of Heroin with Intent to Deliver, Unlawful Possession of Crack Cocaine, Unlawful Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver.
John Gearhart was charged with Unlawful Possession of Heroin within 1000ft. of a Church or School, and Unlawful Possession of Heroin with Intent to Deliver, Unlawful Possession of Crack Cocaine, Unlawful Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe, Unlawful Possession of Crack Cocaine, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis, and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver.
Walter Eyman was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Hypodermic Needle.
Chief Coffey indicated that his officers continue to investigate and more arrests are a possibility. Chief Coffey also wanted to thank the members of the Randolph County Sheriffs Office and the Randolph County States Attorney's Office for their assistance on this investigation. Chief Coffey also expressed his appreciation to members of the community for their support and communication in connection with this investigation. "Having good communication with our citizens has proven to be key to our success in cases like these. We encourage the community to continue to communicate what they see and hear to us. You never know what information may result in a significant arrest".
