90th Du Quoin State Fair Activities Vary

Long-time Du Quoin State Fair fans may remember when a second free entertainment tent located at the south end of the carnival midway was one of the more popular stops of their daylong visit. After a three-year absence, it's back. And, with an impressive array of talented entertainers.

Blue Suede Crew is perhaps the most popular of all the groups which have performed at the Fair's free entertainment tent in recent years and it'll be back for six performances this season. A musical group which takes fans through the country's rock n' roll history with renditions of artists from Bill Haley, Danny and the Juniors all the way to Elvis, Blue Suede Crew will perform at 8 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights both week-ends of the Fair.
