Plummer and Farm Coalition Say Keep Farm Bill Simple

12th Congressional District candidate Jason Plummer looked out over a field at Krone Farms that will yield a scant 25 bushels of corn per acre. The normal yield for that same field is 140 to 160 bushels an acre.

"Right now, farmers across the country and especially in Southern Illinois are hurting," said Plummer, here to unveil his agricultural coalition of farmers. It is made up of more than 15 farmers who support Plummer's Republican campaign for congress.
