Milford Wyman, 84, laughs and says he wasn't much of a salesman growing up in his dad's downtown Du Quoin stores--Wyman's Dry Goods and later Wyman's Style Shop next door--now Riggio's.

He talks about "sneaking out" to go shoot pool at Poletti's pool hall nearby.
