List of great live auction items grows for Saturday Charity Ball
The Du Quoin Youth Club 2013 charity ball committee today announced some of the great live auction items for Saturday's benefit at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds Expo Hall.
They include:
• Ultimate Curb Appeal- professional landscape design by Creative Scapes, $500 in nursery plants, and $200 in landscape material
• NASCAR racing experience (learn and drive like the pros) with autographs from three top NASCAR drivers
• 46" flat screen TV
• Mathis & Sons $1000 scholarship and mini iPad
• Six tickets to New Kids on the Block, 98 Degrees, and Boys 2 Men with limo
• Cardinal ticket packages
• Rend Lake College & John A. Logan tuition waivers
• PGA senior golf tournament package for two
• Jason Aldean Concert, VIP meet and greet, and limo
• "Suite" Southern Illinois Miners game for 14
• Waterfowl hunt with lodging
• Queen size mattress
• Saluki fan package
Du Quoin Youth Club Charity Ball will be held on March 9, 2013 at the Exhibition Hall located inside the main gate of the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds.
The night includes complimentary beverages, appetizers, a dinner buffet and desserts, raffles for live auction items, a shotgun or a cruise, other live and silent auctions and dancing.
Last year, your tax deductible donations generated 50 percent of the Youth Club's annual budget--approximately $60,000.
The Du Quoin Youth Club continues to be the premier youth service program in Southern Illinois. The club is under the direction of Nicole Heape along with her staff of certified teachers.
Tickets for the night are $40 per person and can be purchased at the Youth Club, from Lora Booker at the Du Quoin State Bank or at the door.
