$30,000! Pinckneyville benefit for Chris Harvey overwhelming

Not all of the numbers are in yet, but Perry County Sheriff Keith Kellerman said this morning he believes Saturday's fundraiser in Pinckneyville for Deputy Chris Harvey raised upwards of $30,000.

Cars surrounded the KC Hall for four blocks with over 600 people being served. At 6:30 p.m. with an hour left to go the event was starting to run out of food, but friends were patient. More than 120 participated in the motorcycle poker run earlier in the day.
