90,000 Bushels!

The farming operation could not be named because of privacy issues, but as the Fall 2013 grain harvest gets underway, the newspaper understands that one operation has already brought to Consolidated Grain & Barge Company in Pinckneyville 90,000 bushels of grain, enough to fill 25 grain rail cars. The company said the Pinckneyville operation's busiest time will come in about two weeks during what is expected to be a very good fall harvest.
