Health Department: Funding will continue WIC through at least the end of October

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) in Illinois has received contingency funds from the USDA which will enable them to maintain services through October. WIC participants should continue to keep their WIC appointments and shop as usual and if they have any questions they are encouraged to contact their local WIC office. Illinois serves approximately 280,000 women, infants and children.
