10th 'Remember Me' memorial candle lighting ceremony is Sunday

What began in 2004 as a candlelight service to remember Ashley Thompson, Jeff Conner and the memory of a handful of Du Quoin's children and teens will observe its 10th anniversary service this Sunday, Dec. 8 at Liberty Church at 680 West Main Street in Du Quoin. The inspiring 7 p.m. service is open to the entire community. All who come to the service are asked to bring a votive candle, but it is optional.
