Sheriff Kellerman to make 'Concealed Carry Prohibited' signs available to businesses

Perry County Sheriff Keith Kellerman will make available to Perry County businesses "Concealed Carry Prohibited" compliant signs.

The signage is required for businesses to place on the entrance to their business if they choose to prohibit a concealed carry weapon in their place of business or on their property.

The signs will be available to Perry County businesses free of charge and may be picked up at the Perry County Sheriff's Office starting Jan. 29, 2014.

The signs will also be available free of charge at the business conceal carry seminar sponsored by David Searby Jr of the Perry County State's Attorney's Office. Those seminars are Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014 6:30 p.m. at Du Quoin City Hall and Monday Feb. 10, 2014 6:30 p.m. at the Perry County Courthouse.
