Pinckneyville Community Choir to present 'At the Cross'

Plan now to attend the Pinckneyville Community Easter Service on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at 7 p.m.

The service will be held at the First Baptist Church located at 105 South Mill Street in Pinckneyville.

Musicians from the area churches will combine their voices and talents to present 'At the Cross (Love Ran Red).'

' This is a new Easter musical celebration, that focuses on the redeeming grace, given by God, when He sent His Son to pay the price for our sins. This work will be the focal event of the service with narration and music from composers D. Binion, J. Dufrene and I. Houghton, arranged by Bradley Knight.

'At the Cross (Love Ran Red)' is a 55 - minute musical taking a fresh look at the events surrounding Jesus' death and resurrection to create an exciting Easter celebration which hopefully will speak to the community like never before! Hope is alive... He is Risen!

The following churches participator in the Community Easter Choir: Roe's Dale, First United Methodist, St. Bruno Catholic, New Hope, Trinity, The Gathering, St. Paul United Church of Christ and The First Baptist Church in Pinckneyville.
