<p class="p1">LIVING PROOF SIMULCAST
<p class="p1">Steeleville Baptist Church will hosting a Living Proof simulcast with women's author and speaker Beth Moore on Saturday, Sept. 24, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
<p class="p1">The event, which will feature life-transforming Bible teaching, will conclude at 4:15 p.m. Price is $25 per person, which includes registration and lunch.

<p class="p1">Time Out Bar and Grill in Coulterville is sponsoring a Fun Run on Saturday, Sept. 24, with all proceeds to benefit the Lupus Foundation.
<p class="p1">Sign-in is at 11 a.m., with the last bike out at noon. All vehicles are welcome.
<p class="p1">Hooters Girls will be on-site from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., with musical entertainment by Full Throttle. Free chili will be available.

<p class="p1">CHICKEN DINNER
<p class="p1">St. John Lutheran Church in Bremen will have its annual chicken and dumpling dinner on Sunday, Sept. 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
<p class="p1">The all-you-can-eat menu includes chicken and dumplings, ham, potatoes, corn, green beans, coleslaw, bread, dessert, coffee, tea and lemonade.
<p class="p1">Prices are $9 for adults, $5 for children 4 to 10 and children 3 and under eat free. Carryouts are available and quarts of dumplings will be available at $6 per quart.
