Gold Plate will start serving lunch to everyone

Du Quoin Gold Plate is excited to announce that they are now serving lunch to everyone. For the price of $5.75, anyone, no matter what their age, can now eat at the North Hickory St. location or call in for a take-out meal.

Each month, Gold Plate has a variety delicious home-cooked meals, ranging from soups, sandwiches, pasta or fried chicken to chicken and dumplings with all the trimmings. Each meal comes with dessert, whole wheat bread and a half pint of milk upon request at no additional charge.

Anyone may now call from weeks in advance up to 8 a.m. they day they wish to have the meal. The public an choose to dine in or carry-out.

If you order at least five meals, Gold Plate can deliver them free of charge within the city limits.
