Southern Illinois boat maker cutting 206 workers

A southern Illinois boat maker says it's laying off more than 200 workers at its facility in West Frankfort.

Crownline Boats says the 206 workers will lose their jobs on June 17. The company says its sales are suffering from ''unusual and calamitous weather patterns'' that have slowed sales.

Authorities say they hope the layoffs will be temporary. It wasn't clear how many employees work at the site.
