God Bless the USA; 5,435 See Lee Greenwood at Fair

Sunday night's 5,435 who attended the free Lee Greenwood concert at the Du Quoin State Fair was the largest since country singer Kenny Chesney performed here over a decade ago.

The show was sponsored by Continental Tire of Mount Vernon, People's Bank and Pass One-Hour Heating and Air Conditioning. The heating and air conditioning contractor passed out approximately 4,000 American flags to show goers as they entered the grandstand.
