Volunteer Foundation hosts 92nd annual honors night banquet
For the 92nd time, excellence in Du Quoin education was celebrated during the Volunteer Foundation's annual honors night at the American Legion. The evening brought together the top 10 percent of students grades 4 through 8 from the Du Quoin schools and Christian Fellowship School. Foundation president Andrew Darnell welcomed students, who were served dinner and dessert and were entertained by performers Chris Slone and Keenan Rice.
Amanda Morgenstern created beautiful plaques for five-time scholastic honorees. Jason Hill photographed the banquet so students will always have the memory of a great evening.
