The Du Quoin City Council met on Monday and also approved the following:

• Discussed vacating a street and alley in Reith and Renfro Subdivision that runs east off Wells Street Road to Rick Krone. Krone and his attorney met with council members after the meeting. The subject of selling the property instead of vacating it was broached.
