Dieterich Bank sponsoring Scout merit badge on personal finance

The Greater Saint Louis Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, is pleased to announce Dieterich bank as the Personal Management Merit Badge sponsor for 2022. Their sponsorship shows a commitment to community involvement and development.

This badge encourages youth to build financial skills and understanding. The robust financial education program is unparalleled in other youth-serving organizations and fosters lifelong knowledge, covering traditional banking, savings and investments, budgeting, and insurance. Every Scout is encouraged to complete this badge, and it is required for all Scouts working toward the Eagle Scout rank.

Dieterich Bank plans to hold Personal Management Merit Badge workshops at three locations, including in Red Bud, Edwardsville, and Dieterich. Scouts from across Illinois will have the opportunity to attend the workshops to earn the merit badge.
