Red Bud campus mini job fair brings employers to you
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[If you are in the market for a job, then come by the Southwestern Illinois College Red Bud Campus, 500 W. South Fourth St., from 2:30-5p.m., Wednesday, March 31.
The campus will host more than 10 employers in search of highly-motivated individuals to fill vacancies in their companies. The SWIC Career Activities and Employment Center is hosting the event.
You will be able to meet with representatives of Premiere Jewelry, Mary Kay, Avon, Prairie State Generating, Northwestern Mutual - The Lowery Group, DJ Vacations, Celebrating Home, Cookie Lee Jewelry, National Personnel Records, Southern Illinois Builders Association and more.
Career Placement Specialist Kelly Bione offers these tips to individuals on a job search: ensure that your résumé is accurate and up-to-date; ask someone else to review your résumé to make sure information is clear; check for typographical or grammatical errors; and research any company you are interested in speaking with.
The fair is free and open to the public. You are encouraged to dress professionally and to bring several copies of your résumé. You will have the opportunity to make business contacts or land an interview that can get you started on a new career path.
