Safety First at New MorMad Shooting Range

Three years ago when Roger Dennis of Du Quoin began developing MorMad Lodging and Farms (named for daughters Morgan and Madison) as a hunting retreat, his plan included a 400-yard shooting range with a 2 1/2 mile safe zone beyond the range.

He has achieved that and has begun scheduling fall shooting events. The range itself is fenced with no alcohol allowed beyond the gates, which runs north and south at MorMad Lodging and Farms off East Park Street road (look for the sign on the curve).
